Fondée en 1848, cette institution a traversé les siècles pour être aujourd’hui un hôtel de charme et un restaurant gastronomique. Dans cette demeure de caractère, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal met 12 chambres spacieuses et confortables à disposition de ses hôtes. Cet environnement intemporel est une occasion idéale pour se ressourcer au contact d’un terroir d’exception. Un centre de Spa dans l’établissement offre de quoi se relaxer après avoir arpenté les pavés de la magnifique cité médiévale.
Derrière les fourneaux, on retrouve le chef Thibaut Gamba qui propose une cuisine qui lui est propre, faite d’élégance, de respect du produit et de plaisir du partage. Il peut pour cela s’appuyer sur une brigade chevronnée, un réseau de fournisseurs d’exception et, en interne, sur La Ferme 1544 dont Angelus destine les produits à l’approvisionnement de ses tables, dans un esprit d’agriculture raisonnée et de circuit court.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location in the center of St Emilion. The restaurant is outstanding as well. It is very difficult to access if you have luggage, especially a larger roller bag.
