A circa trenta chilometri da Honfleur, in Normandia, Le Petit Coq aux Champs è un’incantevole fattoria con tetto di paglia. Questo hotel-ristorante, romantico quanto basta, è immerso in un ambiente lussureggiante e fiorito. Fabienne Huard si assicura che i suoi ospiti abbiano un ambiente intimo in cui ricaricare le batterie. Nessuna delle 16 camere è uguale all’altra, ma tutte condividono lo stesso arredamento raffinato e gli stessi mobili confortevoli. Lo chef Jean-Marie Huard è al timone de L’Andrien, il ristorante gourmet della chaumière. In linea con la filosofia del luogo, il menu a tema si basa sui prodotti del territorio. La piscina riscaldata all’aperto è perfetta per rilassarsi e sono disponibili biciclette per esplorare la zona circostante. E non dimenticare le vicine passeggiate a cavallo e il kayak.
