Eight unique suites—each with its own private entrance—honor 19th-century architecture while coming alive with vivid touches conceived by decorator Maguelonne Walewska. Noble materials, generous volumes and warm hues create cocoons in which every detail invites rest, whether for a romantic escape or a rejuvenating retreat. Within the former town house, Brasserie Maleyssie showcases a seasonally driven cuisine rooted in local terroir. David Gallienne, Michelin-starred Norman chef and Top Chef 2020 winner, alongside Chartres native Romain Baudron, reimagine classic dishes with creativity and sincerity. They favor local, organic sources whenever possible, elevating vegetables, meats and aromatic herbs on plates where generosity meets precision. In the bar lounge, deep velvet and dark wood paneling evoke the spirit of the Théâtre de Chartres. Signature cocktails, after-works and DJ sets unfold around gourmet platters and re-imagined finger foods, creating moments that are at once intimate and festive. To host seminars and private events, two private salons offer a tailor-made, flexible and refined setting ideal for professional meetings or intimate celebrations. Directly across the street, the Théâtre de Chartres—built during the Second Empire and renowned for its acoustics—invites you to extend your visit with an evening of theater, dance or music.
