Just 30km from Honfleur in Normandy, Le Petit Coq aux Champs is a charming thatched farmhouse in Normandy. As romantic as it gets, this hotel-restaurant is nestled in a lush, flower-filled setting. Fabienne Huard takes great care to ensure that her guests enjoy this intimate setting in which to recharge their batteries. No two of the 16 rooms are alike, but all share the same refined decor and comfortable furnishings. Chef Jean-Marie Huard is at the helm of L’Andrien, the chaumière’s gourmet restaurant. In keeping with the philosophy of the place, the themed menu is built around regional produce. The heated outdoor pool is ideal for relaxing, and bicycles are available for exploring the surrounding area. And don’t forget nearby horseback riding and kayaking.
