What do you like about this \u2018second\u2019 job?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Discovering new winemakers and forming relationships<\/strong> with them. You have to love wine, enjoy walking and travelling… It takes time, but it’s an interesting job that’s constantly evolving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

What are the selection criteria for listing a wine?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I now only list organic wine<\/strong> bottles. This reflects my desire to prioritise short supply chains <\/strong>and a certain ethical<\/strong> lifestyle. Demand is clear, especially among foreigners, particularly those from Northern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes a good trader?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The one who stays attentive<\/strong>. Attentive to demand, but also to the winemakers. It’s difficult to obtain allocations, competition is fierce and production remains limited, which is all the more reason to work with mutual respect and loyalty. It’s a bit of a give and take<\/em> situation. You also have to be able to question yourself<\/strong>, find the right balance between young winemakers and large estates, and above all try to offer something different. We strive to make a difference through our service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
